The Coast Guard Police of the Dhofar Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman reported that it arrested five Yemeni nationals while they were illegally entering Omani territorial waters and attempting to smuggle quantities of drugs into the country via a fishing boat with the intent to traffic them. The police report added that “Legal procedures against the suspects are currently being completed”.
Meanwhile the South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command of the Directorate of Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, managed to apprehend an individual of Asian nationality after he concealed a quantity of crystal meth and psychotropic substance tablets inside a fishing boat with the intent to traffic and use them.
