With funding from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), a “Food and Agricultural Security and Protection for Displaced and Host Communities” project is implemented in Al-shihr District, Hadramout Governorate, Eastern Yemen.
The project aims to strengthen resilience and improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable groups through integrated interventions in protection and livelihoods. It provides protection services and psycho-social support to affected groups, including case management and community awareness activities.
In the food and agricultural security component, the project targets 130 vulnerable households through the distribution of agricultural and food kits containing seeds, seedlings, farming tools, and livestock to help them cope with economic challenges and create sustainable income sources.
Additionally, the project supports 60 women through skill-based livelihood kits in three productive sectors to enhance their income-generating capacity.
