The International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported in its latest update that its Yemen Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM)’s Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT) tracked 68 households (408 individuals) who were forced to flee on a daily basis from their locations of origin or displacement at least once between 14 and 20 September 2025.  It also tracked former displaced families  who returned to their location of origin.

IOM update mentioned that from 1 January to 20 September 2025, they tracked the movement of 2,275 households (13,650 Individuals) who experienced displacement at least once, adding that the majority of people moved into/within the governorates and districts of Shabwah, Marib,  Hodeidah and Ibb.

DTM stated that it is unable to report on figures in some governorates due to access limitations and that its Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT) tool collects and reports on numbers of households forced to flee on a daily basis, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements in terms of numbers, geography and needs.
