The United Nation Secretary General's Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg said that he is deeply concerned by the civilian deaths and injuries in the recent Israeli attacks in Sana’a.
In a statement by Grundberg the UN Special Envoy said he is following “with great concern” recent developments in Yemen and reiterated that “Yemen and cannot afford to become a battleground for a broader geopolitical conflict”.
The Special Envoy called on all concerned to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure in line with their obligations under international law.
