Al Khawkhah District of Hudaydah Governorate hosted,Saturday 11 November 2023, a meeting of UNMHA and the Government Team of the Redeployment Coordination Committee.
The meeting, chaired by Maj Gen Michael Beary (Rtd) UNMHA Head of Mission, & his Co-Chair – Maj Gen Mohammed Eidah, is the first in Al Khawkhah since the inception of the Mission. The meeting discussed issues related to advancing UNMHA mandate implementation in the
Prior to Al Khawkhah meeting, Major General (Rtd.) Michael Beary met in Aden the Minister of Defense, Lt Gen Mohsen Mohammed Al Daeri.
The principals exchanged views on the overall situation in Hudaydah and the progress on UNMHA mandate implementation in the Governorate.
