The American strategic and security think tank, Stratfor, stated in an analysis that the Gulf states are working to avoid a major escalation with the Houthis in Yemen.
The analysis added that despite the risks threatening the current ceasefire, the Houthis' economic vulnerabilities are likely to hinder them, while Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will continue to withdraw from the conflict.
Stratfor predicted that there will be no significant escalation in the fighting, commenting that even if the Houthis attack the Gulf's energy infrastructure, there is likely to be room for de-escalation.
