US forces in the Red Sea struck military sites of Houthis in the Al-Hodeidah province with seaborne missiles, Al Arabiya said.
According to the report, US warships fired at least four missiles at Houthi-operated facilities in the Al-Matina area around 90 km south of the province’s administrative center.
No further details about the strike are known at this point, including on potential damage and casualties.
With the genocide in the Gaza Strip devolving to inhumane levels, the Houthi militia announced that it would conduct strikes on Israeli territory and block pro-Israeli vessels from passing through the waters of the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait until Tel Aviv ceases its military operation in the Palestinian enclave.
