UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grunberg traveled again to Oman and held another meeting with Mohammed Abdul Salam, the official spokesman for the Houthi rebels and head of their negotiating delegation and senior Omani official, according to the Office of the Special Envoy.
He discuss with Abdul Salam the UN Roadmap which will operationalize the parties' commitments to a nationwide ceasefire, measures to improve living conditions in Yemen, and the resumption of an inclusive political process under UN auspices.
Before his meetings in Oman Special Envoy Grundberg was in Riyadh and met Rashad Mohamed Al-Alimi Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council in Riyadh to discuss the UN Roadmap which will operationalize the parties' commitment to a ceasefire, measures to improve living conditions in Yemen, and the resumption of an inclusive political process under UN auspices.+
