Saudi Arabia’s aid body, KSrelief, has ended its orthopedic surgery and cancer relief program in Yemen, having overseen 69 surgeries and the treatment of 66 children with cancerous tumors.
There was also training provided for doctors, nurses and pharmacists in pediatric oncology and hematology.
The program was launched early December in Mukalla, Hadramawt with the participation of 16 volunteers from various medical specialties.
These efforts are part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
